But ultimately, the answer comes down to focusing on what creates the greatest product value. This is the North Star that drives our team as well.
This quarter, we shipped 60+ new features and lovable enhancements aimed at helping you deliver more value to your customers — including new integrations and updates to roadmaps, automation rules, and ideas portals.
It has been exciting to see our newest products, Aha! Whiteboards and Aha! Knowledge, become an integral part of your product development workflow. You love being able to explore concepts on a whiteboard and create product knowledge bases as part of a unified environment. To that end, we introduced new ways to interact with your product data on whiteboards, launched powerful diagramming capabilities, and made it easier to create the right type of knowledge base for every audience — complete with a stunning homepage.
Over in Aha! Roadmaps, Aha! Ideas, and Aha! Develop, we focused on delivering your top requests. From including milestones on custom roadmaps to time-based automation rules and the ability to share sprint burndown charts across your organization, we shipped a variety of enhancements. And we introduced two exciting new integrations (one for Aha! to Slack and one for Power BI) to expand how you share product information.
We were also thrilled to see so many of you join our live tutorials. Last quarter, we focused on topics including how we build software at Aha! and how to set your 2025 strategy. New in Aha! Roadmaps
Key updates to Aha! Roadmaps make it easier to highlight your roadmap plans and share updates with the team. We also delivered two important enhancements for customers on the Aha! Roadmaps Enterprise+ plan— including a new integration with Power BI and enhanced automations.
Clearly communicate your roadmap plans. Embed your Now, Next, Later roadmap in a dashboard or note to show what is coming (without committing to firm dates) and add milestones to custom roadmaps to highlight key dates.
Streamline how you share important product information. Use the new Aha! to Slack integration to send product notifications from Aha! Roadmaps (and Aha! Ideas) to Slack. Or try out our integration with Power BI to bring product development into your business analytics tool.
Ensure every feature links to the right strategic goals. Use automation rules to automatically link features to the same goals and initiatives as their epic — improving visibility and reporting across your plans (available in the Aha! Roadmaps Enterprise+ plan).
Anyone with view and edit permissions for your roadmap can add, edit, or delete milestones.
New in Aha! Ideas
Take advantage of every great idea. This quarter, we shipped features focused on helping you efficiently evaluate all the feedback that comes your way.
Organize customer research in one place. Use the Research tab on ideas (in Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Ideas) to explore concepts, gather related feedback, and consolidate results from polls, empathy sessions, and in-app feedback.
Get clarity on customer feedback. Send a comment directly to an idea's creator that only they (and your teammates) can see. This ensures you can respond directly to their request and better understand their needs.
Respond to new ideas promptly. Use new time-based automation rules to create a to-do, add a comment, or send an email to remind the team to take action within a certain time frame. (This functionality is also available in the Aha! Roadmaps Enterprise+ and Aha! Develop Advanced plans.)
The new Research tab is only visible to folks within your account (it will not appear in your ideas portal).
New in Aha! Whiteboards
In Aha! Whiteboards, we shipped powerful new functionality to help you go smoothly from early-stage planning to implementation.
Create impressive diagrams. Represent your system architecture using Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud component symbols. Or craft business process diagrams with Business Process Model and Notation shapes and connectors.
Interact with your roadmapping data on a whiteboard in new ways. Customize how your Aha! records look — including the card shape and visible details — and create dependencies without leaving your whiteboard.
Use the enhanced integration between Aha! Whiteboards and Jira to convert text-based whiteboard objects directly into Jira issues. This enables you to quickly route technical requirements to the right development team for implementation.
Change an icon in your diagram by clicking on it and selecting a new icon.
New in Aha! Knowledge
Take control of your product documentation. This quarter, we shipped functionality to streamline how you create and share information with different audiences, including colleagues and customers.
Make it easy for the right people to view and modify product documents. Provide single sign-on access for your Aha! Knowledge account and control exactly who can modify and view specific documents.
Ensure a delightful knowledge base experience. Create a custom homepage for each knowledge base so people can quickly find the information they need, and add header images to documents for visual appeal.
Create the right type of knowledge base for every audience. Build and publish as many knowledge bases as you need for different audiences — such as a customer support site or an internal resource hub.
Configure your entire homepage before enabling it. Once it is enabled, any edits will take effect immediately.
New in Aha! Develop
Many of you rely on Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Develop to create a unified product development workflow. This quarter, we introduced a new way to share key development reports across the organization — the first of many updates to come.
Increase transparency into development progress. Now, you can add sprint burndown charts from Aha! Develop directly to dashboards and documents in Aha! Roadmaps. This makes it easier to communicate real-time engineering progress.
Select the new Current sprint option in the top-left dropdown to always show the in-progress sprint.
