Add a Now, Next, Later roadmap to your product dashboard

Dashboards bring together all of your key product data in one place. They give you a unified view to analyze core metrics, timelines, and updates so you can achieve product success. But to further increase transparency, many of you told us that you want to be able to include our newest roadmap type as well.

Add the Now, Next, Later roadmap to a dashboard to communicate what is coming alongside your other key product management data.

Dashboards help you bring important Aha! views — including roadmaps, list reports, pivot tables, and charts — together in a single place. Many product managers use dashboards to monitor strategic goals, evaluate feature delivery, and track customer feedback. These might include a features roadmap or Gantt chart with clear timelines for what you plan to deliver. But you sometimes need to share a dashboard that includes a roadmap without firm dates.

Now, you can add the Now, Next, Later roadmap to a dashboard as well. Share a summary of what is coming, broken up into three customizable time frames. You can then add supporting information alongside your roadmap to tell a complete story. Stakeholders will appreciate seeing the core product indicators as well as your plans in one overarching view.

As part of this release, we also added the ability to include a Now, Next, Later roadmap in a note. Add these roadmaps to meeting agendas to keep the team aligned on what is coming next. Or publish them to an internal wiki so customer-facing teams stay informed of the roadmap direction.

In the example below, we create a comprehensive dashboard to share with sales and support. It already includes a report with details about upcoming features and relevant customer feedback. Adding a Now, Next, Later roadmap can also showcase what new functionality is planned. We can publish this as a webpage or add it to a presentation to make the information accessible to other teams.

Features will automatically appear in the correct columns as work gets underway and dates change.

Create the exact dashboard you need for any audience — so the entire team can understand what you are working toward together.

This is the latest in a series of updates to the Now, Next, Later roadmap. We recently added filters and drill ins for this type of roadmap when it is shared as a webpage. Try it out today so that your team can get the right level of information from an interactive dashboard.
