100+ templates for every stage of product development
Editor's note: Aha! Notebooks has been split into Aha! Knowledge and Aha! Whiteboards.
100 percent. 100 years. $100 million. 100 is a figure people often use to represent achievement or ambitious milestones. When we set out last year to build a library of templates for product teams, we knew we wanted to go big — so you can go faster on all types of work. Today, we have a full collection that supports every stage of product development.
Aha! Notebooks now has over 100 templates to help you create, collaborate, and showcase your work.
We have been hard at work enhancing Aha! Notebooks since its launch. Over the past year, our product team sat down with hundreds of customers to get your feedback. Many of you shared similar challenges with us — you want more consistency across documentation and better alignment with stakeholders. You also want to be more efficient across all the work you do as product builders.
These conversations influenced many of the features we released — such as document imports, inline commenting, and shareable links. But they also shaped our approach to developing templates. We learned that many of you rely on these thought-starters to get going faster, all while bringing more structure to the way you collaborate.
Product managers have a lot of jobs to do. What if you had templates to help with all of them?
Our plan was to create a library of templates for every aspect of product development. Not only that, we decided that each one should come with best practices, including guided instructions and expert advice. So, we set an ambitious goal: 100 templates in one year.
It was a team effort. First, product management gathered ideas for templates, drawing from customer requests and their own daily tasks — then scoped out how to build each one with relevant best practices. UX handled design and usability for every template. And the product marketing team helped deliver them all to you.
Now, we are excited to share our full collection of expert-guided note and whiteboard templates. You can explore all of them in Aha! software, or take a look at the most popular ones in each category here:
