Improved Kanban Board in Aha! Develop
How do you reduce visual noise while you work? One option is to filter it out. That is why the workflow board in Aha! Develop is fully customizable. You can zero in on the work that matters most to you with different views, filters, and swimlanes. With today's update you can refine your view even further — by hiding work you have already completed.
You can now control the time frame for displaying completed cards on the workflow board in Aha! Develop — to better focus on what is most relevant now.
The workflow board is ideal for tracking the dev team's progress in real time and seeing what has been accomplished. Whether you follow kanban, scrum, or another framework, you can customize the board to work for you. For instance, scrum teams typically want to view work for the current sprint, while kanban teams need to establish a continuous flow from from backlog to done.
Previously, there was no way for kanban teams to move completed work off the kanban board — which meant that the Done column could get pretty congested. So we have added the new filter to help refine your view.
The new Completed records setting lets you control the time frame for viewing finished work. Options include one day, seven days (default), 14 days, and 30 days. This setting only appears on the workflow board if you do not use sprints to manage your work. We also made it possible to view work on the parking lot page in the same way. In the example below, we have filtered the workflow board to show only the cards that were completed in the last seven days.
Keep your team focused on what matters most — the work you are accomplishing right now.
Give the new filter a try and then customize the workflow board even further — with custom swimlanes and additional filters. And let us know what other enhancements you would like to see. We are here to help you create the perfect view of your work and recent contributions.
