Add Video and Audio Files Directly in Aha! Software

But text and images alone do not always provide enough context to communicate your message clearly. This is where other media types like video or audio can help provide richer details — ensuring your ideas and plans are both engaging and understood.

Previously, you could attach a video or audio file to the bottom of a note. But this meant that the media was not shown in the context of your story, and users needed to scroll down to find and download these files — creating a disjointed user experience.

So, we made it possible to insert video and audio files directly into your notes — and anywhere else the Aha! text editor appears (like record descriptions and comments). The next time you need to share a new demo flow or customer interview recording, you can include your file right in your document. This makes it easier to illustrate complex ideas and spark meaningful discussions with the team.

This functionality is available to all Aha! users. Customers on the Aha! Ideas Advanced plan can even include videos in polls — which is ideal for quickly getting early feedback on a new product experience. Just click the Image icon in the text editor toolbar and select the file you want to upload. Once inserted, share your note as an external webpage or publish it in your ideas portal for others to easily view.
