January 22, 2018 Jira Cloud webhook update

On Monday, January 22nd Atlassian will begin to roll out a change to how Jira Cloud sends comment and work log changes in webhooks. Atlassian has stated that they expect the rollout to take up to two weeks to reach all Jira Cloud instances.

What does this mean?

This change affects Aha! customers integrating with a Jira Cloud instance only. The change does not affect customers integrated with Jira Server, although the same update is expected to be released for Jira Server at a later date.

Aha! has already added support for this update. To ensure that your Aha! integrations continue to receive this information you may need to enable more events to your Aha! webhook configuration in Jira.

We recommend that all Issue related events are checked in the webhook configuration.

Please note, you may temporarily notice duplicate comments in Aha! after updating your webhook. This will happen if your Jira Cloud account has not yet received the update and will stop once the update goes live for your account.

Additional support

Our Customer Success team (all former product managers) is here to help. If you have any questions about this upcoming change and whether or not you will be affected, please email us at support@aha.io.
