Just Launched! — Manage Strategic Initiatives and Daily To-Dos in One Place
Strategic tactical work. An impossible contradiction? Not quite. This is where product managers thrive. Because you do it all — from managing big initiatives down to defining detailed requirements. With today's update, all of your strategic responsibilities and tasks come together in one dynamic view.
You can now manage your strategic initiatives alongside your daily tasks on the Aha! My work page.
You could already track the releases, epics, features, requirements, to-dos, and ideas that are assigned to you (or others) from here. Now you can manage your strategic initiatives too. Every assignable record type is now included in this page — another great reason to make My work your homepage in personal settings.
Aha! owners and contributors can manage all record types from the My work page. Reviewers and viewers will only see to-dos and features since other record types cannot be assigned to them.
Let's take a closer look:
Review all your work
Check the status and due dates for all work you are responsible for. Open up the drawer view to look at features and associated requirements. It can also be helpful to review your teammates' workloads as you assign new tasks. (Switch to see what is assigned to others by choosing a user from the upper left dropdown menu.)
Manage strategic initiatives
You will notice a new section for initiatives on the My work page. Check the status at a glance, or review timeframe details and filter by workspace from the dedicated initiatives page. In the GIF below, we are updating an initiative's status and commenting to let a colleague know about the change.
See what is due today, this week, and further out into the future — so you can better deliver against your strategic plan.
Having a centralized location for all of the work you are responsible for should help you stay attuned to every deliverable and task.
