Introducing filters on the Ideas overview page
The Ideas overview page is one of the most visited areas in Aha! software, with more than 80,000 views each week. You rely on it to stay informed about what customers ask for. But many of you told us you need a faster way to focus on the feedback that matters most. So we made it easier to find and act on the most relevant ideas — right from this popular page.
Tailor your view of customer feedback with new filters on the Ideas overview page in Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Ideas.
The Ideas overview page is your go-to spot for tracking customer feedback. It brings together new ideas, trending requests, and items that need review. You can also create themes to group related ideas and track user needs. With today's update, you can now filter this powerful view to quickly zoom in on the ideas that matter most — no need to build a separate report.
Add filters for any standard or custom field on your ideas records (such as Status, Category, Workspace, or Assignee). Try viewing only the requests assigned to you, or focus on a specific product or idea category. Once applied, all the panels on the page update automatically. This makes it easy to customize which information displays so you can quickly review the feedback that matters most and take meaningful action.

Focus on relevant feedback
Let's say we are planning a new initiative around activity tracking for a cycling app. We want to evaluate ideas that are still under consideration. On the Ideas overview page, we add a Category filter for "Activity tracking" and exclude any ideas with a status of Shipped or Will not do. Now, we can clearly see any open ideas — making it easier to understand what customers need as we shape our roadmap.

Track updates to your ideas
Never miss an idea assigned to you. Add an Assignee filter and select your name. The page instantly updates — including portal comments — to show only the ideas you are responsible for. Now, you can swiftly respond to feedback, ask follow-up questions, and update the status to keep things moving.

When you respond to feedback, voters receive a customizable email that reflects your brand.
Review across products
Understand feedback across products. Here, we use the Workspace filter to include ideas from multiple products. We then add a Status filter to zero in on ideas that are in the Needs review, Future consideration, and Likely to implement statuses. Now, we can understand feedback trends across our product portfolio and identify shared opportunities to deliver what customers want.

When you click View in report, your filters will carry through to help you analyze ideas further.
