Just Launched! — Insert Visual Roadmaps, Tables, and Charts in Notes
Pictures or words? I think you need both for a compelling story. When we can visualize a concept, it helps us process information and remember what is important. That is why visual roadmaps and reports are so powerful — you can see the impact of your work. Bringing those views together with the written details documented in your team meeting notes gives you an even deeper understanding.
Now you can embed live views of roadmaps and reports in Aha! notes.
Many of you rely on Aha! notes to document knowledge and processes. You can collaborate with teammates in real time and publish your work as a webpage to share it externally. Previously you could copy and paste a link to saved roadmaps and reports. But that meant leaving the context of the note to view those reports in separate tabs.
Now you can insert any saved custom roadmap, list report, pivot table, or chart into your workspace or personal notes. A copy will be made of the saved view so you can edit the original report and the note report separately.
Here are three use cases to get you started:
Collaborate on customer feedback
Review customer feedback as you work to identify the next big opportunities. Now you can embed a report of the top ideas into a note. In the example below, we used the brainstorming note template and included an ideas list report sorted by score.
Add roadmaps to meeting agendas
Reference the latest roadmap during a cross-functional planning meeting. Below, we created a custom roadmap to show the status of epics. We can update the roadmap right from the note and capture any new action items.
Review velocity in retrospectives
Include reports in your next sprint retrospective so everyone can analyze the same data together. Seeing a report on the velocity across releases or sprints reminds the team of what actually happened — so they can have a productive conversation about areas to focus on.
Analyze and update data right in your notes to propel work forward — together.
If you are new to using Aha! notes give them a try — use a template to set the agenda for your next meeting, capture personal notes, or even record insights from a customer conversation. And if you want to learn more about reporting in Aha! you might want to watch this tutorial. Analyze the impact of everything you do, then add those beautiful views to your notes to fully tell your story.
