Aha! commits $220,000 to help those in need in 2025

by Rachele Siering

We are all responsible for contributing to a more caring world. For our entirely distributed team at Aha! this starts with helping those most in need in our own communities. Aha! team members live across nine countries and more than 100 cities. This means we have the opportunity to collectively make a large and meaningful social impact through Aha! Cares, our philanthropic giving program.

Today, I am thrilled to share that we are committing $220,000 to nonprofits that help folks in need in 2025.

We designed Aha! Cares around people's basic needs of food, safety, shelter, and opportunity. Members of our team nominate organizations in their local communities, then apply for funding. This unique model allows us to focus on supporting grassroots organizations with a hyperlocal focus.

Since we launched Aha! Cares in 2019, we have given more than $1.2 million to worthy organizations around the world.

Beyond financial giving, we devote significant time to volunteering together during our semiannual company onsites. At our most recent one in Rancho Mirage, California, we participated in a variety of activities: assembling bikes for children in the foster care system, painting a shelter for veterans, cleaning a storage space for survivors of domestic violence, and more. The work we do helps others — but it also brings us tremendous satisfaction. When you give openly, you also grow your own humanity.

"Your contribution to our meal program will have a truly meaningful impact on the families we serve."

"We are so grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support of our mission."

"Your funding could not have come at a better time — it will go a long way to keeping our shelves stocked."

It is always humbling to read heartfelt notes like these. I know I speak for the entire team when I say that hearing expressions of gratitude from these organizations never gets old.
