How it works

After you configure it, use the integration to create records or comments. There are two ways to send information to Aha! software from Slack. Hover over an existing message in Slack and use the new Add record or Add comment shortcuts in the More actions menu. Choose your workspace and fill in any additional details you need.

You can also use slash commands to take action. The slash commands available to you depend on your Aha! user permissions:

When you create a record through the integration, Slack will ask you to choose the workspace where you want to create the record, and then show you the record's create layout — including custom fields — so you can capture the same critical information you would if a user had created the record directly in your Aha! workspace.

When you comment on a record through the integration, Slack will ask you to choose the record type and the record itself, then have you add your comment. The text editor for adding comments supports Markdown shortcuts, but not attachments.
